VF Skylinca is a gorgeous five-year-old half-Arabian Warmblood mare sired by
Valencia Farmsʼ own Aspenʼs Bolero who was Reserve Champion Sport Horse In
Hand Dressage-type Stallions at the 2016 Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show. Incaʼs dam is an ISH registered Oldenburg mare with a rating of 97.
Inca is very conformationally correct and solidly built. Sheʼs bay with a beautiful, feminine head and she stands 16.1 hands. She could easily be shown successfully in Arab breed or open dressage/hunter shows.
Inca is green but can walk, trot and canter easily under saddle and has been started over fences. She is also working training and first level dressage and has a strong aptitude for multiple disciplines including dressage, jumping, and hunter under saddle. Another great thing about Inca is that sheʼs such a smooth ride in all gaits that it makes her an excellent candidate to be an equitation horse.
Inca was started using natural horsemanship methods which has helped make her very trusting and eager to learn. She loves people and is the type of horse whoʼs first to greet someone at the fence. She trailers and stands for farrier and vet with no problem. Inca has been taken to a lot of different places and adapts very well to her new surroundings. She recently showed at her first dressage show and took all the new sights, sounds and smells “in stride”.
Inca has mainly been ridden by a trainer but has had a few amateurs ride her with no problem. So, she is recommended for either someone who has experience bringing along green horses or someone who is working with a trainer. With consistent work, this beautiful mare could easily become someoneʼs next champion.
