Vilkabamba is a stunning Westfalen filly with eye catching markings, a great temperament and super talent. She has excellent and balanced conformation with excellent gaits. Already showing talent for jumping and the stride to do well in eventing (video shows her jumping a small X after having followed her dam over polls a few times). She is tested heterozygous tobiano and carries the dominant white gene W20 as well as the non-dun 1, meaning that she can pass on primitive markings. She is Ee/AA/NTO/NW20/nd1-nd2, making her very interesting for breeders.

Sire is the BWP stallion Copabella Visage, Grand Prix winner and World Cup Competitor with striking pinto colouring. He retired from jumping at age 17 and went on to compete in Dressage. This is a very nice moving stallion with great jumping technique and temperament that he has passed on to his many offspring who compete at high levels in jumping and eventing both in Australia and Europe. He became available to North-American Breeders for the first time in 2020 so this filly is from his first crop in NA.

Dam is a Westfalen mare who competed in the young horse classes at Spruce Meadows with a Championship as a 4 year old. She competed to 1.10m before a pasture injury sidelined her jumping career. Dam is also a very nice mover with excellent scope and bascule. Filly is the mare’s 3rd foal and all have been super athletic with great minds and conformation.
