Mattie is very balanced, very responsive, light in the bridle. She is an uphill mover, with excellent use of her hind quarters. Flying changes come naturally to her. She is a talented upper level prospect and needs a confident, experienced rider. 16.1 ½ hh, she is registered with the Oldenburg Verband and was awarded a Premium at her foal inspection.

Mattie’s dam, Fabriana, is by the imported Oldenburg Grand Prix dressage stallion, Fernet Branca (by Furioso II). Fabriana was inspected and entered into the Main Mare Book of the German Oldenburg Verband. Fernet Branca competed successfully in dressage at Grand Prix level . He was ranked with the World Breeding Federation as one the top dressage sires in the world. His son, Fun, competed at the World Equestrian games in Rome on the British Equestrian Team and was ranked in the top 100 dressage horses in the world for 2000. Fernet Branca also scored “9” in jumping at the 100 day test in Adelheidsdorf, Germany finishing 10th out of 67 stallions.

Mattie's sire, Wolkentanz II is considered one of Weltmeyer's best sons . Performance test “Reserve Champion” (133.56) and Dressage portion “Champion” (143.94), scoring two 10’s for rideability, Wolkentanz II has competed successfully at Advanced level dressage (S level) in Germany & Europe. Wolkentanz II adds type, excellent gaits, temperament & rideability to his offspring – producing outstanding competition horses. Sire of 12 Approved sons, a high percentage of State Premium mares, many Bundeschampionate competitors, riding horse Champions & offspring that are commanding top prices at prestigious sales and auctions.
