About Wake Up:

WakeUp is a 2005 AWR Stallion by Wagnis (Weltmeyer) out of Maiden Montreal (Macho/Ramadour), but he is so much more than that. WakeUp has been a prodigy. He was extremely successful and a poster boy for US breeding in the YH program. He was placed 4th as a 4 year old. As a 5 yo he represented the USA in the 2010 WBFSH Young Horse Championships in Verden, Germany. He is the only US bred horse to compete at this prestigious event. As a 6 yo he qualified for the World Championships once again but stayed in the US to become the national champion. His developing horse career started when he was Reserve Champion Developing PSG as a 7 yo and then Nation Champion Developing PSG as an 8 yo. He did the same thing as a Developing GP horse… Reserve Champion as a 9 yo and Champion at 10 years old. He went on the compete in CDI Grand Prix, including a second place finish in the West Coast Dressage Festival in 2019. He was awarded the prestigious Anne Ramsey training grant in 2014 and went to Germany to train with Elmar Schmiehusen.
