Welcome to Burlesque (Lacey) is a gorgeous, head turning filly with a presence! Her disposition, her bravery and desire to work make her the perfect partner especially tied in with that pushing hind end for Dressage. Lacey has been started very lightly this fall with her basics; walk, trot and canter. She is extremely light in the bridle and has been started/developed properly. Lacey is very amateur friendly, and it was very hard to give her the winter off to mature because she is so willing to work and quick to understand and engage with her rider.

Lacey is very refined, yet her curvaceous built that takes up the leg of taller riders. She is in yet another growth spurt due to her age and is a SOLID 64 inches (16 hands) at the withers with a level. She is going to be a big gal.

Lacey has the best disposition for her age. She is non-reactive and extremely brave, almost to a fault. If she is startled, she spooks in place and then demands to investigate regardless of if she should or not. Her curiosity and inquisitiveness are strong features as she navigates her young life. She also LOVES kids and will be the first to great you in the pasture. She will immediately run to the gate if she thinks you may be there for her pasture. Lacey stands for the farrier (barefoot), vet and loads. UTD on coggins, dental and vaccines. She is happy to be out to pasture 24/7 (lowest on the totem pole) or in a stall. She is currently stalled at night and loves the extra TLC! Open to PPE’s.

I am starting Graduate school in the spring and will not have time to bring her along as I hoped.
