Ginger is a very strong, powerful filly already. Gentle with very nice ground manners, lounges both directions and is getting started under saddle. She is people friendly, sweet, easy to be with. She loves to jump and is fearless. Redheads have a reputation for being difficult but this filly is sweet and extraordinarily athletic. Gingers's dam "Aclaim" sire is "Claim to Fame". He won his stallion breeding approval with full licensing and approval for stallion book I with the Rheinland Pfalz-saar International. He scored a 9 for type. He also won breeding approval with the American Warmblood registry and their comment was "Wonderful attitude. Takes care of his rider". Claim to Fame has been featured in many publications, including a cover story in the official Pinto Horse Magazine for their World Show Edition as well as a cover shot in Sidelines Magazine, the premier national equestrian competition and lifestyle magazine published in (Wellington) Palm Beach - for their 12/05 Stallion Issue. Claim to Fame is a 1998 Pinto Oldenburg Stallion standing 16.1 1/2 hands. His sire is the Oldenburg stallion Hall of Fame and his dam is Akula, a lovely Thoroughbred mare out of the Tom Fool/ Buckpasser/Buckfinder line. Akula was judged a premium mare by RPSI at the age of 15 after six foals. Tom Fool and Buckpasser were "Horse of the Year" Thoroughbreds and Buckfinder was recently featured as a top eventing sire. Claim to Fame's perfect conformation has won him the honor of being the only (Tobiano) Pinto Horse to ever win at the Devon Hunter Breeding Show. He was "Best Colt" in 2000 and won many other shows in the East that year. In 2003 he began his under saddle show career with top hunter rider, Scott Hofstetter. They won many Championships in Jacksonville and HITS/OCALA. The last show at HITS they won all four over fences classes in divisions of 100+. Claim to Fame went on to win Championships in 2004 at HITS/Ocala, Circuit Champion of Pre-Green at the RMI Spring Series at HITS/Ocala, Resesrve Champion at Culpeper/HITS, and Grand Hunter Reserve Champion in Warrenton where he won the Special Conformation Hunter Division. He competed very successfully in Green Conformation Hunters in the 3'6" division. He reaffirmed his conformation credentials by winning the Model in the combined divisions of Conformation Hunters back to back. His first foals, born in 2003 have won him the coveted title of "Best Get of Sire" at the prestigious 2004 Upperville Colt and Horse Show. A'Claim herself was reserve champion. They also held three of the "Top Five" Places for yearlings at the East Coast International Hunter Futurity as well as two of the "Top Five" in the Sallie Wheeler National Hunter Breeding Championship.
Her Sire Westporte is an imported Hanoverian by Wolkentanz out of St. Pr. Farah by Fabriano. He obtained his 2 year Hanoverian breeding license in Germany based on
his movement, jumping ability and conformation. He is approved with the Oldenburg N. A. / ISR and Canadian Sport Horse Association, Rheinland Pfalz
Saar (RPSI) and Canadian Warmblood.
Westporte is nominated for the International Hunter Futurity. He is a premium stallion with the Oldenburg N. A. and was champion of his CSHA licensing with an overall score of 92.5% . Westporte currently holds the highest score ever given to a stallion from the Canadian Sport horse Association since their incorporation in 1926.
He has been shown in the professional and amateur hunter divisions. He consistently places in the top 3 over fences and undersaddle in the Conformation
and working divisions at AA rated shows. Westporte was awarded horse of the year for USEF zone 9. 2007 he was mid-circuit champion Green Conformation hunter and reserve AA 18-35 in Thermal California. He has been champion at every major show on the West Coast in the professional and amateur divisions.
Westporte's first foal crop arrived in 2004 with just two foals and in 2005 with just one foal. His foals are already showing their sires good work ethic and temperament in their training. He consistently stamps his foals with his wonderful amateur friendly temperament, correct conformation and fabulous movement.
Westporte has sired multiple line champions including Best Young Horse at Devon, Upperville, Warrenton, The Royal Winter Fair and the International Hunter Futurity Finals. West Bay, West Hampton, Wi Dance Again, Mae West, West Sun, West Ridge, West Field, W. Porto Fino, Walencio, and Port O Call are some. Westporte has been named Sire of the year at the IHF East Coast finals in KY and Warrenton. His foals have continued their success under saddle winning championships in the pro divisions and JR/AM hunters.
