Super fun 2007 16.1 hand gelding by Waldaire out of an Again and Again mare (loads of FEI, Grand Prix ancestors) that is seeking a new home to share what he knows so well. Low maintenance, sweet personality and has a strong work ethic combined with big, forward gaits.
Whodini is solid in all his lateral work, correctly balanced for riders with a strong core and forward hands - but at the same time he is very happy to give the most basic of lessons to advanced beginners. His canter is large and ground covering, so that is what holds him back from being a true beginner’s mount. Changes are solidly confirmed through 2’s. Pirouettes are there as well. Walk is very, very good. Trot is on the bouncy side. He is the same horse at a show and at home. Who does hack well with company/a buddy. He is a horse that makes the rider laugh with his personality and sunny good nature. Who does enjoy cavaletti, small grids and group activities and he also has mileage out schooling cross country obstacles as a youngster.
Whodini has flawless ground manners, is good for vet and farrier. He aims to please and is a very sweet horse. In being used as a “schoolmaster” for select students we have observed his tolerant, forgiving and generous nature. He will tolerate rider errors for what seems like eternity and when the rider asks correctly he responds calmly with the appropriate execution of the exercises.
As one visiting person said - He is like and old school Hanoverian! And the answer is Yes, he is!
No vices - but like any equine - he could spook, bolt or buck if something were to provoke an instinctive response.
Full medical history from birth will be available to review. Who has received careful and meticulous maintenance as well as training for his specific needs throughout his lifetime- nothing fancy or outlandish…we are offering him only due to too many young horses to bring along! He has a lot to offer the next person in his life!
