Willow is a lovely young mare by the Spanish Morphology and Dressage Champion, Gumiel.

Gumiel is a son of Ermitano III.

In an illustrious career he won numerous Morphology Championships, before commencing his Dressage Career in 2008.
By 2012 he was the Absolute Champion of Spain, winner of the ANCCE Cup, and had sired the 2011 SICAB Champion, and International GP horse, Manchego ARB (dec). From only 44 inscribed foals, he produced 9 Champions, and now his daughters are part of an exclusive Spanish breeding program.

Willow's dam, Shalem IA, is a maternal sister to US National Champions - Kapparah AI (1st US bred mare classified Calificado and top 20 PRE worldwide in 2008), RA Dulcineya (USEF horse of the Year 2013), RA Chacota and RA Laila (both with multiple Championships).

Willow is a maiden mare, who started under saddle in Nov 2022. She has received a solid foundation, and is giving us glimpses of her potential as she relaxes into her work. She will bond strongly with her rider, so ideally needs an experienced and empathetic rider to gain confidence and build trust for best results.
