We are reluctantly offering Windsor for sale. He was purchased to ultimately be my husbands horse, but he is too high energy to truly be beginner safe (meaning, he is not a kick ride). He is a very smart, eager horse, who has a fantastic work ethic. He will do anything asked of him, and has never said "no" or backed off from things that other horses would be hesitant of. He walks, trots, canters, has started over jumps, and has trail ridden quite a bit including doing obstacles. He has been over tires, done obstacles including turn on the haunches in a pit of empty plastic water bottles, bridges, mail boxes, ditches and water, etc. Jumped flower boxes, a xc table, again anything he has ever been pointed at, he said "okay" and usually "can we do it again?" He has been off farm and shown both in hand and under saddle (dressage and trail). He is a head turning horse, stunningly beautiful. 5 year old Irish x Dutch WB, almost 16.1 with a huge body and large bones. Would excel in any discipline really, and brave enough to event. Windsor is the type of horse that needs a job. He gets bored easily, and literally loves to work, so needs a home where he isn't sitting out most days of the week (like he does here). I wish I had the time to continue to bring him along, but every day I train him takes away from another horse here. He is easily worth 15k, but sadly has a scar from a pasture accident when he was 2 that is very very ugly on his hind leg. He is totally sound, it does not impede his way of going or jumping, and the joint xrays were clean. Its just a very unsightly blemish. Video available on our farms facebook page.
