Xerez is a fun, safe gelding imported from Spain in 2022. Xerez has shown through third level and schools more advanced work like piaffe, passage, and tempis. He has a super workmanlike attitude and loves to please his rider. He does not require spurs or a whip but can be ridden with them.

Xerez is a versatile mount and could be a good prospect for working equitation. He loves cavaletti, riding in the open field, and enjoys trails. He is currently ridden about 4 days a week. When I travel he has time off and is the same sweet horse when I return from trips to ride. Lunging optional. He's been ridden by amateurs from their 30s into their 70s and adjusts well to new riders. He's a natually forward-to-the-aids horse so not suitable for a beginner or someone without a steady position or understanding of timing of natural aids. For someone who has good basics, he's delightful.

He has experience traveling to clinics and shows. He is easy to keep in the barn and settles into new environments well. He's currently turned out with another gelding and in a stall at night. No bad habits or health issues. He currently wears rear shoes. I have a set of x-rays on file from before he was imported of legs, neck, and back without remarks. I'm looking for a loving, long-term home for him.
