Yorick is now leased to a young rider! She is having SO much fun with him. He is a solid first level! Yorick went to his first training level show last year and got a 70.
Yorick is out of Ritske R, who was imported from Germany & was the most bred to stallion while there. Ritske is the son of the living legend Tsjerke 328. His dam was Lowin out of the FEI stallion Tjelle S who scored 9 for his character & 8 for trainability & also imported from Germany. At Yorick's keuring he received an 8 for type, 8 for body quality & correctness and an 8 for entire impression/development. Overall Yorick has 3 good gaits, and his canter is big and expressive. He is calm and interested in everything! Had a tree cut down right by the barn & he stayed right there to see what was going on while the other horses were cowering in their stalls. He has his USDF Lifetime Registration. Yorick does not have a mean bone in his body!
