"Ivy" is a truly beautiful hunter prospect. She is very tall and leggy with a beautiful head and neck. She has lovely movement and a sweet personality. She is quiet bordering on lazy and would definitely be suitable for an amateur rider. She has a pretty, flat kneed trot that will be competitive in a hack class and a long, lopey canter with the most natural and effortless lead change we've ever seen on a yearling.
Her sire, Ralando II competed in both the hunter and jumper rings with professional and amateur riders before retiring to stud. He has a quiet, easy disposition and a fabulous jump. Ralando II passed away late in 2014 so his babies will be difficult to find as 2014 was when his very first babies hit the ground.
Ivy's dam, Legacy is a flat kneed hack winning mover that consistently produces premium quality foals. She always gives her foals a beautiful head and topline. She has produced babies that are winning in both the hunter and dressage rings- including Perpetua NHF 2011 USEF 10 Top for 2 yo Hunter Breeding and Rosalut NHF the 2014 USEF/Markel Young and Developing Horse 4yo National Champion.

Ivy is registered with sBs as well as lifetime recorded with USEF/USHJA. We expect she will mature 16.3+.
