Elegant, modern type eight year old sporthorse mare. Beautiful bay with four white socks, Zegna turns heads wherever she goes. Awarded premium status at her approvals, she impressed the German officials with her gaits, presence and personality. Rhythmical four beat walk with good overstep, powerful suspenseful trot, and an uphill, elastic canter make Zegna particularly well suited to dressage. She is alert, responsive, and light off the aids with a sweet temperament. Zegna is extremely intelligent and easy to train making her suitable for a Junior or Adult Amateur. She was started as a three year old and had six months of professional training before I bred her. She is an excellent mom and produced two beautiful babies, a filly and a colt. The filly will be used in my breeding program. She is currently back under saddle at training level dressage and jumping 3'3"courses. She easily free jumps 4' making her also suitable as an event horse or very fancy Hunter/Jumper or equitation mount as she is very smooth.

Zegna's dam Paree, has been the foundation mare for my breeding program. Paree is the reason there are many beautiful types on this farm. Paree is by Rantares(Ronald/ Cor de la Bryere) who had the highest FN rating in the US even years after his passing. Rantares produces upper level dressage horses as well as upper level jumpers. Zegna's sire, Lintas, was awarded seigerheinst (Champion) of all the stallions presented for the 100 day test that year in Germany. Zegna's grand sires on the sire's side, Linaro, also won his 100 day stallion test in Germany.

Zegna's exceptional pedigree has resulted in a horse who is very athletic, but what really sets her apart is her temperament and personality.
