Zena is an eight year old, registered pinto mare. Measured at 15.1h, she has a truly marvelous temperament (nickers greetings). She has an elegant build with a strong, active hind end. Her loose, free gaits are both smooth and ground covering. Her forward walk obviously shows overstep, her trot is comfortable and cadenced, and her canter is balanced and easily adjustable.

Since 2008 Zena has been handled by a Dressage trainer and exhibitor. She has been shown at Third Level Dressage scoring in the 60s, and demonstrates promise for jumping as well ? jumping with excellent form, use of the bascule, and tight knees. She is currently capable of standing for mounting, a walk, a trot, a canter, and a long and low stretchy trot, both trot and canter lengthenings, leg yield, shoulder in, half-passes, and rein back. She has wonderful ground manners and can stand tied, cross tie, bathe, load, move out for presentation in hand, and stand quietly for the Farrier. She does not now, nor has he ever taken a single unsound step. She certainly has no stable vices and is just as comfortable at show as she is at home.
