Lexington IHF is a lovely AHS Bay Gelding with attractive black points and a beautiful head. He is by Lord Adonis (https://warmblood-sales.com/horse/lord-adonis) out of a Flemmingh dam (https://www.horsemagazine.com/thm/2010/08/flemmingh/). Flemmingh is one of the top Dressage sires in the Netherlands, and we are incredibly lucky to have him and his keen attitude. Lord Adonis is extensively registered and an amazing producer, popular for the temperament he passes on to his progeny. With Lordanos/Ramiro in his lines, Lexington is bound to succeed the jumper ring and is fortunate to have been started with support from a USDF Gold Medalist.

He stands out with his dorsal stripe - it will get you a lot of attention! Lexington IHF has been well handled since birth, with an extremely kind eye and unflappable demeanor. He is currently 16.2hh and building the carriage to take any rider up the levels.

He has a large, reaching hind end, great balance, and already enjoys hacking out and even working in the field. He has been doing well barefoot and turned out with other geldings. In the field he is confident alone as well as with his friends. He travels extremely well, and loves going off the farm for lessons, shows, and rides with friends. He hacks around well with no spook.

Everyone who meets him comments on his gentle expression. He really has the lovely ears and eyes of Flemmingh in profile, but the beautiful head shape of Ramiro.

Lexington IHF is people oriented and relaxed enough for a junior or amateur to create a lifelong partnership. A knowledgeable professional will be able to put the young horse miles on him quickly. He would be considered a little strong, and takes just a touch of prodding to keep him thinking forward and in self carriage, but once he is there his gaits and talent dazzle.

He is located in Pisgah Forest, NC, 20 minutes from the Asheville Airport, and an hour north of Tryon. He has been started under the guidance of a USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medalist, takes a spur and whip well, and has been a dream first start. He loves having people around and being groomed!
