Mountain Legion, aka Lucy, is a 2007 Irish Sporthorse filly by the RID stallion Mountain Pearl out of our best producing thoroughbred mare, Legion. Legion is an elegant mover, and with her size & substance she consistently produces excellent Irish Sporthorse foals. Her foals have wonderful jumping ability. Her first Irish Sporthorse foal was purchased as a Pan Am hopeful. Mountain Pearl is no longer standing in the US, having been exported to Ireland to improve upon the Irish breeding program. Lucy is one of the last Pearl foals produced in the states.

He is registered, inspected and rated First Premium with the AWR.

Her RPSI inspection score was 8.3 - Confirmation 8.2 and movement came in at 8.4. The judges remarks included "very nice type, feminine, well built top line-muscles. Good size, very long legs. Nice walk. Trot and canter- very uphill from the ground, trot- very good swing."
