Divo Rico SE is a correct, sound, talented son of Johnson (a Dutch WB sire by the famous Jazz). His mother is the registered Dutch mare, Rica Veneziana, a half-Trakhener out of a Preferent mother. Rico has been a slow developer who was started as a 3 yo and then given some time off this spring/summer to grow up. The change in him is amazing, and he is responding well to training and looks the part of a talented dressage prospect. While Divo is smart, talented, and trainable, he is sensitive and at this age he can be a little quick/reactive.

Fancy bay colt by Benetton Dream (Brentano II/Rotspon/Davignon) out of a Stedinger/Prince Thatch xx mare. Benetton Dream is a Bundeschampionate winner, a 30-day performance test winner and was also the champion Hanoverian of the 3 y.o. stallions at the World Championships for Young Horses in Verden. The dam of this colt is a breed show Grand Champion and Mare Inspection Champion, complete with superior rideability. Her 2010 colt was champion of his inspection and this year's colt is fancier.

Currently under training as a hunter, since he is closely related to the Redwine sire who has done so well, and his mother is from the great jumper Prinz Gaylord.
